Most of these lovely images originally ran in Love and Lavendar under the title, Natural Romance. That was my working title till I realized for me it was more than that--it was a spectacular day we spent shooting under the redwoods. Deer Park Villa in Fairfax, California, was a place I'll never forget. Two photographers, Lara Onac andAmanda Aceveshave been wanting to do a project like this since their days in photography school. Both shooters were a joy to work with as were all the talented Bay Area vendors--Maria of studio Wildflower and hair and makeup artist extraordinaire, Taylor Gallanter who fashioned the bride to look so Gatsbyesque. Special thanks and kudos to Misha and Anna our real-life couple who got to have another wedding all to themselves this time. Anna said she loved her original wedding but confessed she didn't have the space to enjoy the most finite and detailed moments as she and Misha could with this private elopement-style day they shared under the redwoods . . . .
